Professor Whistlecraft’s Industrial Copper-Plated Marvel

An initial idea in combating the imminent Martian hoards was to fight them on their own terms.
To this end Professor Whistlecraft hastily re-purposed his walking engine originally devised for exploration.
The contraption proved too inarticulate and sluggish to be suited for it’s intended purpose and he abandoned the project in favour of his evacuation plan
